When NASA launched a rocket to the International Space Station in February, a bit of Medical School research went with it. Space.com reported that the U’s Bruce Hammer, Ph.D., and Louis Kidder, Ph.D., sent up an experiment to help their team develop better therapies for bone loss—for astronauts and for people here on Earth.
